About
Known as the "Jewel of Jaipur," Rambagh Palace was originally built in 1835 and has served as the home of the queen’s favorite handmaiden, a royal guesthouse, and the residence of the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II. Today, it is one of the most opulent hotels in India, spread over 47 acres of manicured gardens. The palace retains its elaborate splendor with hand-carved marble latticework, sandstone balustrades, and cenotaphs. Guests can experience the "Sport of Kings" by playing polo on the adjacent grounds or enjoying a vintage car ride around the Pink City. The Suvarna Mahal restaurant, formerly the palace ballroom, offers a dining experience fit for royalty with its huge crystal chandeliers and gold-plated tableware. The "Steam" lounge bar is uniquely housed in a restored steam engine train. Rambagh Palace is not just a hotel; it is a living museum of Rajput hospitality, where you are treated with the same reverence as the royals who once walked its halls.
